Ceramic coating for cars and caravans
A hard, glossy layer that bonds to your paint. It keeps the shine, sheds water and dirt, and makes every wash quicker.

Choose your vehicle
We use a different, specialist coating for each.
Two coatings, chosen for the job
Cars and caravans have different surfaces and live different lives, so we use a specialist coating for each. For cars we use Gtechniq, with a 5 or 9-year warranty provided by Gtechniq. For caravans and motorhomes we use OptiVAN, a coating made for gelcoat and the long periods in the sun that vans face.
Whichever you choose, the preparation is what makes the result: a thorough wash and decontamination, then paint correction where it's needed, so the coating seals in a finish worth keeping.
How a coating job works
Wash and decontaminate
A full hand wash, then iron and tar removal and a clay bar so the paint is completely clean.
Correct the paint
On used vehicles we machine polish to remove swirls first. The coating locks in whatever is underneath.
Apply the coating
Applied panel by panel and levelled by hand, then left to bond.
Hand over and aftercare
We show you how to wash it so the coating lasts, and register the warranty where it applies.

If I could give Hot Ride ten stars, I would! The interior is now completely immaculate and looks (and smells!) like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Their attention to detail is next-level.
Common questions
Is ceramic coating worth it?
If you keep your car for a few years, usually yes. It protects the paint from UV, bird and bat droppings and grime, and makes washing much faster.
Does it stop scratches?
It resists light marks and wash swirls better than bare paint, but it won't stop stone chips or key scratches.
Can it be done at my home?
Yes, ideally under a carport or garage, out of rain and direct sun. You'll need a tap and a power point within reach of the car. We bring everything else.
