It suits cars that are in reasonable shape and need regular upkeep rather than a rescue job. Some detailers call it a smart detail or an elite wash; the idea is the same.
Every panel is washed by hand with clean microfibre cloths, never a brush. Wheels and tyres get their own cleaning, and the paint is finished with a ceramic sealant that keeps it glossy and makes the next wash easier for weeks. Inside, the whole car is vacuumed, the plastics, dash and console are wiped and dressed, leather is wiped down and the glass is cleaned on both sides.
Seats and carpets aren't shampooed in a mini detail, and there's no machine polish. If there are stains, pet hair or smells to deal with, the full detail is the better fit. If you're selling, look at the presale detail.
